PaperToy v1.4.1 Released
PaperToy » Devlog
v1.4.1 includes improvements to the language & some bug fixes
New Features
- Singleton cards! You can now change values on individual cards. This monster card can now take damage to it's health:
card Monster start
int health = 5
end
visiblestack monsters
....
monsters.top.health = 0
- You can now ask for user input during movement hooks. You can cast spell cards that have interesting behaviour:
card Spell start end
; when a spell is moved to the cast stack, choose effect and target
premove Spell start
if to == cast start
choose effects -> targets 1
end
end
- You can now use card-like start ... end syntax for declaring attributes on stacks. Stacks can now hold data that's relevant to them:
visiblestack hand start
int maxSize = 5
end
....
; if you have too many cards in your hand, send one of them to the graveyard
if hand.size > hand.maxSize start
choose hand -> graveyard 1
